Renewable Energy Strategy for an Organic Livestock Farm

Samara was engaged by a 700-acre organic livestock farm in Kent to develop a comprehensive carbon reduction and energy sustainability strategy. The farm faced challenges in reducing its carbon footprint, optimising energy operating expenses (OpEx), and minimising grid dependency, while maintaining the operational integrity of its farming practices.
Our team conducted a holistic assessment of the farm's energy needs and operational requirements, evaluating various renewable energy options for their feasibility and impact. This included analyzing the potential of solar PV, wind energy, and other technologies in meeting the farm’s unique demands.
Through our tailored recommendations, we identified the most efficient renewable energy solution to achieve the farm’s goals of reducing carbon emissions, lowering energy costs, and increasing energy independence.
This project enabled the client to take decisive steps toward greater sustainability while enhancing operational resilience and aligning with their commitment to environmentally responsible farming.
